The Region Directors for the Mennonite Disaster Service paid a visit to Green Valley Lake today. They were here to evaluate the need to bring in volunteers to provide free construction labor for residents wishing to rebuild, but short of funds. The Mennonites have two programs available. One program would not begin until Spring 2009, but a new program, just being introduced, could begin as early as this summer. The GVLDRF will be working to bring this help to the community and will keep all residents posted as to the progress being made. For more information contact GVLDRF.
